My Apologies…And Other Things
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire…
What is up, my peeps? SO glad to be back! I’ve not been very active here, but the explanation is simple:
I was sick.
So please cut me some slack! I’m going to try to be more active! I apologize! Bows.
So now we can get to the subject. It’s fall! Are y’all excited! I know I certainly am! I love the warm sweaters, the colors, the frost, and the drop in temperature we’ve all been waiting for. Fall on a farm is really beautiful.
Fall means Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and there’s a hint of Christmas in the air. In the next room, I hear my sister singing “Chestnuts roasting on an open fire…” You gotta love little sisters. And if you don’t, well, something is clearly wrong with you.
I love fall birthdays. Sure, you can’t have a pool party, but how about going to a corn maze, pumpkin patch, or farm? You can even go on a trail ride or hiking if you’re brave enough.
I have one more fall story. It’s about Charlie. Charlie is a cardinal who lives on the south side of our house. Every morning you hear his loud cheep, cheep, and you walk into the bathroom, and you see him perched at the window sill, flying at the window because he thinks it’s another Charlie. He always makes me smile and put down the blinds so that he doesn’t hurt himself, bashing into the window like that.
What are some of your favorite things about fall? Are you a fall baby? Please comment and, if you’d like to be updated if I come out with more fall-y stuff, subscribe.
God Bless and Enjoy Your Fall,
Grace
