Merry Christmas! And Other Schtuff
Hello everyone! Merry Christmas! I hope you all are enjoying your holiday! I sure am!
This morning, Sister and I tore into the living room to open presents. We sure got some cool stuff! My sister received:
- A lockpick set (She read some book called Greenglass House, and ever since…)
- Common Panda temporary hair wax (Purple! I got it for her)
- Clothes
- Shoes
- Jewelry (A pair of earrings and two watches)
- Some sewing stuff
I got:
- Lots and lots of clothes!
- Shoes
- A purity ring
- Some sewing stuff
I decided, for this post, I’m going to do a life update, complete with To-Be-Read list (TBR), New Year’s Resolutions, and maybe more.
Cool Stuff That Happened This Month:
- Like, almost nothing, other than preparing for Christmas
- Ooh, we celebrated Las Posadas yesterday with our Mexican friends. We made a ‘pilgrimage’ around the house with candles, sung the posadas song (listening to the guys sing was HILARIOUS), ate some traditional Mexican food, and goofed off.
- This morning, I tried putting the hair wax in Sister’s hair. It didn’t work! ;(
To-Be-Read List for January:
- On the list were Erin Morgenstern’s books The Night Circus and The Starless Sea, but I have issues with some of the content in the books.
- The book of Revelation for my WIP
- Melanie Dickerson’s Fairy Tale Romance series (currently on book three, The Fairest Beauty)
- All the books I’m supposed to read in January for my lit class (next up is Anne Frank: Diary of a Young Girl)
January’s New Year’s Resolution:
I’ve always been fascinated with the idea of doing one resolution for each month, so that’s what I’ll try to accomplish. For January, I want to do my devotions every day that it’s possible.
I will be adding accountability updates in my future posts, so please watch for that, and if I’m not doing well, please drop me an encouraging comment. Thanks! See you next week!
God bless!
